Shake It Update 1/04/19: Happy New Year From Shake It!

GIANT THANKS from all of us at Shake It Records to all of our customers for another great holiday season! Still not much at all in the way of new releases, mostly just a handful of vinyl reissues. But keep your eyes fixed here and we'll let you know when new ones start rolling out again.

Shake It Gift Card Exchange

Here's something we do all year 'round, but it's mostly handy for the holidays: Shake It will redeem your gift cards/certificates from big box stores!

Let's say your beloved aunt generously buys you a $50 gift card from Best Buy without realizing they don't carry Charles Mingus or Stooges on vinyl... just bring that card to us and you can redeem it here!

Please note that we DO NOT redeem cards from our independent competitors like Joseph-Beth or Everybody's Records, because we encourage you to support them too. But we are happy to redeem gift cards from chain stores that carry music or books, or places we can stock up on office supplies, etc.

So we'll gladly take cards from Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, Target, or Wal-mart. We do not accept iTunes cards or cards from restaurants. If you're unsure, give us a call (513-591-0123) and run it by us.

We've got some long out-of-print Larry Goshorn and Goshorn Brothers CDs for sale that were recently dug up from Larry's basement! Stop in and stock up before they vanish forever.

We have signed copies of the latest releases from Lucero, Rev. Peyton & His Big Damn Band, Neckdeep, Lord Huron & Trampled By Turtles now available on the website for you out of town folks. Click over to here to grab one.

We have a couple of very nice new T-shirts in stock, raising funds for some great Northside projects. That fine Northside Boxing Club shirt is for the boxing club documentary Hardface. And that very fun Northside shirt is for the arts organization PAR-Projects (Professional Artistic Research).

And just a reminder that we are always selling tickets to The Woodward Theater, Madison Theatre, and other local events sold through CincyTicket. Just ask for tickets at our front counter.

There is no service charge on tickets when paying with cash. However, there will be an additional charge of $1 per ticket if paying with credit card.
